You can now attempt the olabajing.co.uk Part 1 - The Basics Final Challenge!

Right now – you’ve got this far – you should be an expert.

You have a choice of 3 options:

1. ‘Yes and No’ – remember the animation you were shown at the beginning of the course? Use the idea of ‘Yes and No’ to make a short movie (don’t try and copy the one you’ve seen – be creative. Ask if you’re stuck for ideas...) Remember, nothing too complicated. We only want to see what you can do.

2. ‘TV Advert’ - Make a short television advert for any product (it can be anything: toothpaste, magic mangos, ‘New “Trash” cleaning spray’). Design characters and objects. Text is good for this (use the text tool!)

3. IMPRESS US! – Design whatever you. As long as you show us the skills below, we don’t scare! Show us your creative genius!

You should use:

1. At least one motion tween
2. At least one shape tween
3. A variety of the drawing tools – we’re talking quality here

(Use more than just the paint tool – lines, fills, etc)

Try to include:

1. A Motion Guide
2. Drawing your own characters
3. Use of layers

Spend time on this. You have as long as you need. DON’T RUSH.
